Art Deco Belais filigree and floral detail three diamond 18k white gold ring size 5

Circa 1920s 18k white gold filigree ring with high relief floral details on the setting. Three diamonds are surrounded by floral detail and wheat detail is engraved on the shoulders and continues around the entire shank. The diamonds are exceptional, they are eye clean and white with a lot of sparkle and fire.  The center diamond in particular has stunning light return.   The three are estimated at a total of 33 points or 1/3 carat. Marked Belais 18 K.

The ring works as a dinner or cocktail ring, or as an engagement or anniversary ring.  Because the pattern is continued around the entire shank, resizing the ring is not recommended.

Measurements: The center diamond is around 4 mm, the side stones are approximately  2.5 mm each.  The setting rises 6 mm off the finger.  Weight is 3.1 grams. Ring size is 5.

Condition: Excellent condition with light surface scratches and minor wear on the gold.   The detail is in overall crisp, excellent condition.  There is some smoothing of detail on the bottom of the shank due to a sizing down of the ring.  It was very well done and is only noticeable on close inspection with magnification.

Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such a surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage - wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn

Note: All defects are noted to the best of my ability and are reflected in pricing. Measurements and weight are approximate.
