This is a beautiful Vintage Diamond Trilogy engagement ring.
Made in London England it is hand crafted in 18ct/18k gold and set with three high quality, twinkling white brilliant cut diamonds in a traditional style used over the decades.
The important details are as follows :
The head of the ring is 18ct white gold with three twinkling white brilliant cut diamonds all neatly set within a star burst rub over bezel setting. The pretty star setting gives the illusion that the diamonds are much larger and brings out the vibrance of the stones.
The pierced basket framework underneath is designed to let in the maximum amount of light when worn. This leads to an 18ct yellow gold band which is 2mm wide. Easily sizeable by your jeweller.
The diamonds are super clean and white approx H-I colour and VS1 clarity. The centre stone is circa 0.15ct and each side stone is circa 0.10ct making a total of approx 0.35 carat or 1/3 carat of diamond weight. Assessed in the setting.
HALLMARKS : 750 for 18ct/18k gold. Leopards head for the London assay office. Date letter for 1986. A crown and a makers mark H.Ltd
FINGER SIZE : UK - N or US - 6 1/2
MEASUREMENTS : Setting is 1.4cms x 6mm. Rises 4mm from finger
WEIGHT : 2.9 grms
CONDITION : The ring is in excellent vintage condition with no damage or repairs and setting is holding the stones securely.
